Home Delivery & Outreach services are available to Lincoln County residents who are unable to make it to the library.  Contact the Outreach Librarian for more information or to sign up.  You will need a library card.  Deliveries are scheduled every two weeks based on the established route.

Youth Services

Youth Services: We provide a wide range of materials and programs for children of all ages. The library is an active part of the Lincoln County Community Early Childhood Council which focuses on ensuring access to high quality childcare and preschool education programs as well askindergarten readiness efforts.

Genealogy & Local History: Kentucky Room

Genealogy & Local History: Start your local history and genealogy research in the Kentucky Room at the library.  Nonfiction materials related to Kentucky folktales, ghost stories, people, trees, and wildlife can be found here.  Genealogy resources include:

  • Family files
  • Obituary file
  • Books related to Genealogy & KY History
  • Interior Journal on Microfilm & Online
  • Lincoln County High School Yearbooks
  • Magazines: Kentucky Explorer, Kentucky Living, Kentucky City
  • Lincoln County Oral History

Available at the Library

Copies: Use our coin operated copy machine for letter and legal sized copies. Black and white or color options are available. Single-sided black and white copies are $0.20 each.

Scan to USB or Email: Stop by the library with your documents to scan.  Simply type in the email address and start scanning with our public copy machine. 

Send a fax: Simply bring the documents you would like to fax to the library along with the phone number to send to.  There is a charge of $1.00 per page to send.

Receive a fax: Provide the library’s fax number 606-365-5565 to the business or individual sending the fax.  Ask them to include a cover page with your name and phone number so we can call you when the fax arrives.  There is no charge for this service.

Laminate: Protect important documents with lamination.  The library will laminate items upon request and charges based on size.  Small is 3.75” x 2.5” (about the size of a business card) and costs $0.50.  Medium is 4.5” x 6.5” (about the size of a postcard) and costs $1.00.  Large is 8.5” x 11” (the size of a sheet of paper) and costs $2.00.  X-Large is 11×17 and costs $3.00.  If you have more than 2 items to laminate, we may ask you to drop them off and pick them up the next day.

Photo Scanner & VHS/DVD Converter: The library provides a photo scanner for your convenience. Scan your family photos to digital files. Additionally, convert those old home movies from VHS to DVD using our equipment. Contact the library for more information and to reserve a time.

3D Printer: A Dremel 3D printer is available to print 3d models.  Fees are charged based on the amount of materials used.  All print jobs must be set up by a staff member.

Seed Library: Get your garden off to a great start with seeds from the library.  We began checking out seeds in the Spring of 2019.  With 60 varieties to choose from, there is something for everyone.  Quantities are limited.

Exhibits: The library provides space for exhibits of interest to the community.  Do you have a collection that could be displayed in the library?  Contact the assistant director to make arrangements.
