PURPOSE: To provide licensed residential treatment for mildly to severely emotionally disturbed children ages 6-12 years of age & to provide foster care for those children
and youth who are leaving residential care and other intensive programs, and entering a family setting.
SERVICES: 24-hour care for mildly to severely emotionally disturbed children ages 6-12 years. Individual and family therapy, group therapy, recreational therapy, on-site
schooling, psychiatric and psychological consultations, on campus nursing care, medical/dental care in local community, nutritional assessments, and emphasis on
moral and spiritual development. Foster care for children ages 6 to 16 who have emotional
and behavioral difficulties but can bond with a family and attend public school. Screening, training, counseling, and on-going support for foster parents.
ELIGIBILITY: Referral from a mental health professional.
FEE/Charges: Medicaid, some funding from grant sources and per diem from DCBS for committed children, and Impact Plus.
