PURPOSE: To conserve and develop all renewable natural resources within the district. In so doing, the district is authorized to undertake, sponsor, or participate in projects, activities, and programs which promote the conservation, development, maintenance, management, and wise use of the land, water, trees, and other related natural resources in the district.

SERVICES: Assistance is provided to landowners in writing water quality plans. The district provides conversation education to the students of Lincoln County. This is done by promoting the conservation writing and arts contest, providing tree seedlings, sponsoring a farm day, and working on special projects. The local conservation district also provides loans to purchase equipment that is used for the application of conservation and best management practices. KY Soil Erosion and Water Quality Cost Share Program is also a program that the local district is involved in. This program provides cost-share assistance to approved applicants for implementation of best management practices. Educational Support: Young Farmer Support, Soil Classes and Land Judging.
