Support Groups

Al-Anon Support Group – To provide support for friends and family of a problem drinker.Weekly meeting to support family members and friends of problem drinkers.

Alcoholics Anonymous Support Group – To assist people who have the desire to stop drinking and to have continued sobriety. Support and assistance for alcoholics who want to become and remain sober.

Breastfeeding Support Group – To provide support and assistance for women who choose to breastfeed their children. In collaboration with Boyle and Garrard County Health Departments. Support and assistance for women who choose to breastfeed.

Compassionate Friends Support Group – The mission of the Compassionate Friends is to assist families in the positive resolution of the grief experienced following the death of a child and to provide information to help others be supportive. Monthly support group for families who have experienced the death of a child. Contact the National Office for a chapter referral out of the Danville area. Resources information is also available through the National Office.

Diabetes Information and Sharing Support Group – To provide support and assistance for those who are suffering with diabetes Mellitus. Meetings to support people suffering with Diabetes Mellitus.

Isaiah House – To help men who have had criminal trouble and life controlling issues such as drug and alcohol addictions, as well as other issues. Services include:  Living Free Support Group, drug, alcohol, and tobacco testing, GED training, job placement, individual counseling, transportation, meals provided, medical, 24 hour monitoring,  required church attendance, structured Bible study and prayer, individual ministry, referrals for financial assistance, and practical living skills.

Surviving Cancer Support Group – 

Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program – Provide temporary shelter, support and assistance to victims of domestic violence.
