This position will plan, promote, and execute programs for children and young adults. Extensive knowledge of young adult and children’s literature, prior programming experience, and the ability to work with parents, guardians, and teachers is required. 

Strong technical skills are necessary, including library software and utilizing Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube as program platforms. 

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working with children, and previous library service. 

Some nights and weekends are required. Reliable transportation and a good driving record are necessary. All employees are required to have a criminal background check.
